Our Childcare Centre in Sandringham opens at 7.00am, allowing early drop-off for families. This is a good time to check in with your child’s Educators and share anything important about your child for the day ahead or any relevant news from home.
Families can grab a coffee from our Connections Cafe and children will have breakfast prepared by our team. Fun and engaging play-based learning experiences begin, designed specifically for your child and their classmates.

Children will enjoy a delicious morning tea prepared by our Centre Chef. If your child’s routine includes regular naps they will have the opportunity to rest (rest-time is available to children throughout the day as needed).
Play-based learning experiences continue after morning tea. Activities are planned carefully by our experienced Educators to meet the interests and needs of your child and their classmates.

Lunch is an important part of the day at our Sandringham childcare Centre. In line with Paisley Park’s Food Philosophy, children share their meal together, making choices, building social connections and learning healthy eating habits while enjoying delicious chef-prepared food.
After lunch children will enjoy further learning through play experiences which may include a fun and exciting incursion or excursion. Or some favourites for our children in our Sandringham Centre include feeding our farmyard pets, collecting eggs from the chickens, and making mud pies in the mud pit.

For the convenience of families our Daycare Centre in Sandringham is open until 6.30pm. Children who are with us until the late afternoon / early evening will be offered a late snack.
The handover at pick-up time gives your family another opportunity to speak with your child’s Educators to ask questions or for Educators to share any important information from your child’s day. This is in addition to information shared with families during the day through our parent app.

The learning environments at our Sandringham daycare centre are thoughtfully designed to support the evolving needs of children at each developmental stage.
It’s important to note that age ranges are a guide only. Transitions from room to room are planned carefully in partnership between our Centre Director and each family. Timing of room transitions are triggered by readiness of the child and availability rather than by their age or a date on a calendar.
This nurturing space supports infants as they adapt to new environments, form new friendships and develop secure attachments. With a focus on exploration, curiosity, and sensory discovery, your child is encouraged to engage with their surroundings, build connections, and develop trust. This calm, safe environment supports emotional security, early communication, and the foundations of physical and cognitive development.
For children aged 1–2 years, this dynamic room supports emerging independence and early social interactions. At this age, toddlers are learning to express emotions, explore boundaries, and develop language. This environment full of sounds and textures, nurtures curiosity and confidence, complements their learning, and supports your child in meeting important milestones.
This room sparks curiosity and discovery as your child experiences ‘light bulb moments’ through exploratory play. With access to open-ended materials and engaging environments, your child tests ideas, solves problems, and expresses creativity. Imagination flourishes as your child begins to make connections, extend thinking, and build confidence in their growing abilities.
This vibrant room encourages creative expression, problem-solving, and perseverance. Your child explores a variety of materials and ideas, takes thoughtful risks, and persists through challenges. Their growing independence is supported through imaginative play and artistic exploration, nurturing cognitive development, emotional expression, and the confidence to think and create in new ways.
This stimulating room supports complex thinking, problem-solving, and independence. As cognitive skills rapidly grow, your child engages in imaginative play, tests hypotheses, and makes thoughtful decisions. Rich, challenging experiences inspire curiosity and resilience, empowering your child to explore new ideas, express themselves confidently, and prepare for the transition to school with enthusiasm.

“We feel so lucky to have found this daycare for our son. From day one, it’s been clear how much care and thought goes into creating an inclusive, welcoming environment.
The educators truly celebrates every child for who they are, and there’s a real sense of community here – not just among the kids, but with the families too. Our son is thriving, learning, and most importantly, he’s happy and excited to go each day.
We’re so grateful to be part of a place that values kindness, diversity, and connection. Highly recommend!”
“My daughter Iris has been attending Paisley Park Early Learning Centre Sandringham for over two years now, and I can truly say it’s been such a positive experience for our family.
We’ve actually loved this centre since our son was here a few years ago. So when Iris was born, it was a no-brainer for us to want to send her here too. At first, there wasn’t a spot available, so I explored other centres in the Bayside area. While some were large chain centres with good reputations, none of them gave me the same warm, welcoming feeling I got from Paisley Park.
What stood out to me was the vibe – the educators felt genuinely caring, and the environment struck a perfect balance: not too big, not too small, modern but still cozy. When a spot finally opened up, I was thrilled to bring Iris here.
That said, the beginning was not easy. Iris had been cared for by grandparents full-time until she was two, and was used to being surrounded by family love and attention. Her first few weeks at the centre were tough – she cried and screamed every drop-off, and it broke my heart. I also felt so sorry for the educators who had to comfort her, but every single one of them showed incredible patience and kindness – not just to Iris, but to me too.
With their support, Iris gradually settled in. After about two months, the tears stopped, and now she absolutely loves going. She feels safe, cared for, and connected.
Over the past two years, I’ve even seen the centre improve – the facilities, the daily newsletters, the communication with families – everything feels more refined and thoughtful.
To the entire team at Paisley Park Sandringham, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You’ve not only helped Iris grow, but you’ve also supported me as a parent through those emotional first stages. For any families in the Bayside area considering childcare, I wholeheartedly recommend this centre and its amazing team of educators.”
“We have been so impressed with Sandringham Children’s Centre after trying 3 other childcare centres previously.
The communication is outstanding, the warmth and care provided by all educators is wonderful and it has such a homely, inviting vibe. Addition of the extracurricular activities including music and sports classes are fabulous.
Educator Natalie in the 3 year old kinder room has been brilliant in assisting my son to settle into his classroom. He is very happy there. Couldn’t ask for more in an early education service.”

If you are returning to work, we recommend your child starts with us at our Sandringham childcare centre, at least two weeks before you start back at work. This helps to get your child settled with their new routine. It’s a big change for your child and also for you as a parent. Allowing some space around this important transition is very helpful for families. That way, when you return to work, you don’t need to be worrying about your child during your first few days back because your child has already begun to settle into the new routine. We find this approach helps parents have a good start back into the workforce.
Yes, we provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for all children at our Sandringham childcare centre. Menus change seasonally in line with our food philosophy. We are passionate about providing an enticing food experience for children. Meals are prepared on-site, nutritionally balanced, flavoursome and rich in textures. We believe in the importance of the social aspect of eating experiences and incorporate that into our daily routines. We can support allergies, intolerances and most cultural preferences. Our Centre Chef plays a part in the educational programs through food experiences. Children are involved in growing food and understanding where food comes from and the core principles of healthy eating.
Some children settle quickly, while others need additional support. On average, it takes between 6 to 12 weeks for a child to develop deeper familiarity with their new environment. We recommend that families discuss their child’s needs during the enrolment process, as additional orientation visits may be required to support the child’s smooth transition into our Sandringham daycare centre.
Yes. Kinder Funding is provided by the Victorian Government to reduce the cost of attending Three- and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten programs. It applies to a maximum of 15 hours per week of kindergarten and can only be claimed with one Long Daycare or Kindergarten provider. The funding is paid directly to participating long day care centres offering government-funded kindergarten programs. The Kinder Funding subsidy is then automatically applied to the kindergarten portion of your fees, reducing the overall cost for your family.
