Your Child Will Thrive in a Natural Environment

Enjoying access to natural play spaces and learning about the environment and sustainability, helps develop your child’s connection to nature and the world around them.

Children love playing and learning in our indoor and outdoor environments, which are inspired by nature, using soothing natural colours and materials to create a tranquil and inviting environment – you can feel the sense of calm as soon as you enter the front door.

Your child’s early learning space

Your child will be given the space and opportunities for their physical, personal, social, emotional and spiritual wellbeing to flourish, and develop cognitive learning skills that they’ll build upon throughout their lives.

They’ll enjoy challenging experiences that help them form strategies like open questioning, problem-solving and explaining to foster shared thinking.

Sustainability

Your child will learn about the principles of sustainability and the ways they can make a difference.

When it comes to mealtimes, your child will also learn where their food comes from through activities such as helping to tend the centre’s veggie gardens and ‘harvesting’ herbs, vegetables and eggs to give to the centre chef to cook.

Connection to Nature

Our centres have ‘family’ pets so your child will learn how to care for them, developing their empathy and sense of responsibility.

Your child can let their imagination run wild in our outdoor and natural play areas, including nature trails, discovery areas, creek beds, rock climbing walls and cycle paths.

Safety and Hygiene

The health and safety of your child is of critical importance to us.

Our centres are equipped with security systems that ensure only authorised people have access to our facilities.

Paisley Park staff and Educators receive ongoing training in health and safety, including first aid training.

We are meticulous about monitoring and maintaining the highest standards of safety and hygiene in our centres.

We review our practices regularly to ensure we are meeting or exceeding those standards.

At Paisley Park Early Learning Centre Chadstone (VIC), we value rich learning experiences and believe that engaging with our Centre animals is a great way for children to learn about caring for other living things. Our enrolled children are curious learners, and enjoy going to the chicken coop every morning, to check on our chickens Seeka and Strawberry, making sure they have fresh food and water, and collecting freshly laid eggs. After collecting the eggs, the children carefully take them down to our reception area, where the eggs are available for our families to take home and enjoy. Having animals at our Centre encourages children to have gentle interactions with them, helps children build a sense of connection to their environment, and teaches them about nature and the difference between wild and domesticated animals. In addition, pets can help children develop self confidence, build self-esteem and social skills, and overcome fears.

Today we celebrate Educator's Day, and honor our incredible team of Educators who are the heart and soul of Paisley Park Early Learning Centre Malvern East (VIC). Every day our Educators bring their passion, creativity, and unwavering dedication as they walk through our door, to create a nurturing, supportive, and inspiring environment where our children love to learn, grow, and thrive. Striving to ensure that each child feels valued, respected, and loved, they inspire curiosity, encourage exploration, and foster a love for learning in our little ones. On this special day, we took the time to show our appreciation for all they do, and the profound impact they have on the lives of our enrolled children. A big thank you also goes out to our wonderful families who made this day even more special by showering our Educators with thoughtful gifts, and heartfelt notes. We place great value on the strong partnership we share with our families, and your support means the world to us.

Sustainable practices have been a great initiative in our Earhart Room at Paisley Park Early Learning Centre Prospect (SA). Educators have curated a thoughtful range of resources using recycled materials, as well as embedding practices into daily routines, such as worm farms to engage the children and encourage them to think broadly about reducing and reusing waste.
