Inspiring Your Child’s Lifelong Love of Learning

Your child will be given the space and opportunities for their physical, personal, social, emotional and spiritual wellbeing to flourish, and develop cognitive learning skills that they’ll build upon throughout their lives.

They’ll enjoy challenging experiences that help them form strategies like open questioning, problem-solving and explaining to foster shared thinking.

Through observation and listening, we question and suggest new possibilities encouraging children to search and explore meaning in their lives. Educators are intentional in facilitating experiences where each child’s eagerness and curiosity is fostered and creative thinking encouraged.

School Preparation Program

At Paisley Park we believe successful school preparation not only aids effective transition to school but importantly, facilitates a lifetime love for learning and success.

Our unique and specialised program dovetails with the National School Curriculum and includes an additional focus on building confidence, independence, autonomy and resilience.

We understand the importance of these relationships for your child and are intentional in choosing Educators to join our team who have a special blend of experience, care and a genuine interest in children’s growth and development.

Your child’s Educator will get to know them on an individual level, understanding their interests and talents and weaving these into the activities of the day.

Fostering Your Child’s Talents

At every stage of the learning journey, from infancy through to school readiness, our Educators encourage and nurture your child’s interests and abilities through play-based learning.

Literacy & Numeracy

We acknowledge the importance of literacy education in helping children communicate and express themselves. Daily experiences and activities help children develop their skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking, across all age groups.

Music & Self Expression

Music is an artistic vehicle for self-expression that trains your child’s brain for higher forms of thinking. Children have daily opportunities to explore various forms of music, such as contemporary, classical, traditional and modern.

Information Technology

Technology is embedded into our daily lives, so to complement our learning activities and prepare your child for the fast-paced digital world, they’ll use different technologies to challenge thinking and encourage creative expression.

Art & Creativity

Nurturing a child’s imagination is a brilliant way to foster divergent learning, so we help your child develop their creativity with clay, plaster, dough, paint, collage, drawing and printmaking and more so they can cultivate their own creative thinking.

Outdoor Exploration

Spending time in nature and exploring natural landscapes will help your child with physical and motor skills, social skills, and help them learn by interacting with living creatures, like bugs, birds, butterflies and more, on a daily basis.

Paisley Park

Supporting children to keep active is important to us here at Paisley Park Early Learning Centre Playford (SA), and one way we ensure this is by promoting outdoor play. Exploring and engaging in our outdoor environments offers different opportunities for play and stimulates many different areas of development. Exploring the natural elements of our yard stimulates children’s senses through hearing, touching, seeing and feeling. Recently, the children have participated in various gross motor experiences in our yards such as dancing, egg and spoon races, obstacle courses and more. The outdoors is an exciting space for both Educators and children to engage in and make discovers together!

Paisley Park

Here at Paisley Park Early Learning Centre Royal Park (SA), the Picasso and Einstein children are engaging in school preparation. Educators have been working with children to identify their names, and learn to hold a pencil, by modelling these important skills. The children love to practice holding pencils and textas, while improving their fine motor coordination, and do a wonderful job of writing their names. It is heartwarming to witness the children encouraging each other, as they are developing skills and learning to be school ready.

Paisley Park

The World Health Day campaign this year is focusing on the impact of COVID-19, and ensuring we are doing our part in preventing the spread of the virus. At Paisley Park Early Learning Centre Royal Park (SA), we have been revisiting the importance of handwashing, as Educators role model correct handwashing technique. Using words of encouragement, children apply soap, scrub, and rinse their hands under the tap. Once their hands are clean, they dry their hands with a paper towel, which is then put into the bin. This is part of our daily practices, and children have learned with confidence to use the correct handwashing procedure. Well done!
