1. Your child needs to be between the ages of 18 months and three years before they are mature enough to recognise the urge to go to the toilet.
2. Toilet training is a new skill for your child to learn.
3. Praise every little success and remain calm about accidents.
4. Your child might take years to reliably master night-time dryness. This is normal.
